Jes von Henzke
RYT 200 Hatha & RYT 200 Anusara
Lululemon Ambassador 2010
&
Power of Movement Ambassador 2012
Jes von Henzke’s yogic journey began in 2007, after the life-altering loss of both of her children. She was overwhelmed by grief, depression and anxiety, her body, mind and spirit were in shambles, and she didn’t know where to turn. The Universe turned her towards a yoga studio, and she started healing herself from the inside out. The first class she took showed her a glimmer of what could be, and after jumping head first into a daily practice, she was asked to join the Kshatriya Yoga Teacher Training program through Lion’s Breath Yoga and Pilates Centre in Edmonton, Alberta. Since moving back to Vancouver, BC, she’s taken part in various workshops and courses, indulging in her thirst for knowledge and furthering her studies. She just completed the Anusara Path to Teaching Yoga with Chris Chavez through YYoga.
Yoga has shown her how to fill her heart, mind, and soul with light and stillness. Life is both beautiful and full of challenges, and being able to help her students navigate their own personal journeys brings her immense joy and fulfillment.
She made it through life’s toughest times, is shining bright, and is ready to share the gift of yoga with all who want to learn.
